Getting started

  1. Install Cadence from the Shopify Theme Store (or upload the theme ZIP).
  2. Open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  3. Assign menus, logo, and colors under Theme settings.
  4. Replace demo product/collection images with your catalog.
  5. Preview on mobile and desktop, then publish.

Homepage sections

The Cadence homepage is section-based. Merchants can reorder, hide, or duplicate sections in the theme editor.

Collection hero

Add up to 6 slides. Each slide supports a heading, text, button, optional collection, and image. Autoplay duration and overlay opacity are section settings.

Tip: Use high-resolution lifestyle images (at least 2000px wide) for best results.

Lookbook

Add look tiles with a product or image. Navigation pills move between looks. Connect each tile to a product so customers can shop the look.

Products & collections

Use Shopify’s native product and collection templates. Cadence product rails and showcase sections pull from collections you select in the editor.
